Why is SI different (for End Users)?

You'll find that Security Incite is not your run of the mill research firm. We pay the bills by providing advisory services to end user organizations, which is truly differentiating from pretty much every other analyst firm out there (with the exception of one).

We uniquely let our end user community drive our research. Whether it's figuring out what news and topics SI is going to cover weekly or helping to prioritize our more detailed research initiatives, you - the end user - take an active role in defining our research. By definition, this means you are going to get value, because you are directing the research agenda.

We pride ourselves on making sure our research is actionable. It's of limited value if you can't do something with our reports and blog postings. If we aren't saving you time and money, and helping you to make better decisions, then we're not doing our job. We always ask "so what?" and make sure our research answers that question. 

We are fiercely independent and unbiased. We call it like we see it. Even if it means we piss people off. Our president spent years at META Group, and got into many skirmishes with unhappy vendors because of our published research. But never once did META's management compromise on research independence, even if it meant losing vendor business. We do what is right, not what is popular.
