Vendor Tales

It seems my "Top 5 ways to piss Mike off" (here) post resonated a bit with folks, as I had a few add some of their top experiences in the comments section. Check these out and laugh a bit, and if you are a vendor - make mental notes not to do these idiotic things.
- WPN tells a tale of woe about lying reps that will pretty much say anything to get you on the phone (here). Riddle me this Batman, what happens when you do get me on the phone and I found out that you were lying?
- Joat points out a couple of personal hygiene issues that he's experienced, in addition to some pet peeves relative to vernacular and opinion (here). I guess some of these vendors missed the lesson about washing your hands after you go potty...
- And never to be outdone, Stiennon tells me to chill out and that I should not let vendors spell out the need for their products (here). I guess if you are the smartest guy in the room, you already know everything. Since I'm not, what the hell, maybe I'll learn something if I let a vendor spend 1 or 2 minutes telling me why they exist. Not that it happens often, but every once in a while, I hear something new. Then I need to validate it, of course, but that works for me.
