Mike, unfortunately the fairness issue is only one of the BIG issues I have with both Network Computing's Rolling Reviews and Network World's Clear Choice Tests. These reviews are at best misleading so security professionals who rely on them are unfortunately the ones who suffer. Could these publictions produce more trustworthy and useful analysis? Yes. Will they? Do not hold your breath. It would be too hard and likely less provocative and so it's not appealing to the journalist mind.
