It seems my "Top 5 ways to piss Mike off" (here [0]) post resonated a bit with folks, as I had a few add some of their top experiences in the comments section. Check these out and laugh a bit, and if you are a vendor - make mental notes not to do these idiotic things.
- WPN tells a tale of woe about lying reps that will pretty much say anything to get you on the phone (here [0]). Riddle me this Batman, what happens when you do get me on the phone and I found out that you were lying?
- Joat points out a couple of personal hygiene issues that he's experienced, in addition to some pet peeves relative to vernacular and opinion (here [0]). I guess some of these vendors missed the lesson about washing your hands after you go potty...
- And never to be outdone, Stiennon tells me to chill out and that I should not let vendors spell out the need for their products (here [0]). I guess if you are the smartest guy in the room, you already know everything. Since I'm not, what the hell, maybe I'll learn something if I let a vendor spend 1 or 2 minutes telling me why they exist. Not that it happens often, but every once in a while, I hear something new. Then I need to validate it, of course, but that works for me.
