Vendor Citation Policy

All research created by Security Incite is intended for internal use by our subscribers. In certain instances we allow vendors to cite our research, but only in accordance with the following guidelines.

  • All Research published by Security Incite, including the SI Rants blog and other content accessible via securityincite.com is the property of Security Incite, represents our corporate assets and is subject to copyright and other intellectual property protections.
  • Any external or commercial citation of the Research by vendor or user organizations is prohibited without our express written permission. This includes without limitation:
    • Uses of the Research in advertisements, press releases, and sales collateral in all types of media.
    • Uses of the Research in SEC filings or other legal documents.
  • All citations must be limited in scope. Full reproduction of the Research is prohibited. Reprints may be available for select reports and must be purchased from Security Incite.
  • All citations must be accurately cited in verbatim and must maintain spirit of the intended Research. Security Incite must approve all citations in writing without exception.
  • The “Security Incite” name or logo cannot be used in press release titles or subheads or any advertisements or sales collateral.
  • Citations may not be used that refer to another company and/or its products.
  • Citations must come from current research, published within the last year.
  • From time to time, Security Incite may contribute a quote for a specific press release on behalf of subscribing companies. Under no circumstances will the quote mention a specific vendor or product name. The quote will specifically present an assessment of a market space in a generic way.

    • You must provide the full citation and context for your request, including a draft copy of any press releases and other marketing materials.
    • We will reply to your request within one business day.
  • Security Incite reserves any and all rights to all published and presented Research and maintains the right to deny any and all uses of the Research for any reason.
